The ring is built from 6 mm thick steel plate reinforced with a 5 mm x 32 mm angle iron. The cooking grate assembly includes: 6 mm thick at steel bar perimeter frame; 13 mm dia. grate bars; 16 mm dia handle bar with coiled steel bar grips.
