Description
Firering is rolled from minimum 4,5 mm thick steel with an integral formed 25 mm wide flange around top edge. This flange provides extra strength against heat warpage, and eliminates a vertical edge. Draft holes are provided for re ventilation.
Cooking grate is infinitely adjustable vertically from below the top of the firering to 20 cm higher. This cantilevered grate is structurally reinforced to resist hard use and vandalism. The cooking grate can be lifted over and out of the campfire ring, but remains permanently attached to the ring.
FA Series Campfire Cooksites come in different diameters and heights. Select the diameter to control the size of fire, and the side height to achieve the degree of fire barrier needed.
Tip back anchor pins (standard) keep the campfire ring secured in one place, but allow the firering to tip up for easy clean out.
Cooking grate adjustment handles, made from 19 mm dia. steel, are turned outside of the firering, away from the fire. The handle grips are coiled steel bar, and will not get hot. The cooking grate is built using 16 mm dia. steel perimeter bars and 13 mm dia. steel grate bars.
